Business Development Manager of innovative engineers and specialty contractors under
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities with BioPharma clients for Hart Engineering Corporation, Hart Design Group and HP Services. Success in this role hinges on strong industry knowledge, a proven history of driving successful partnerships, and a strong network in the BioPharma sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BioPharma industry, focusing on partnerships, project engagements, and long-term client relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform business strategies.
  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue goals and drive company growth.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Play a part in negotiations and manage contract development, ensuring favorable terms for both clients and the company.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Hart Engineering Group and HP Services at industry events and conferences to increase brand visibility and thought leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7 years of experience in business development within the BioPharma or related engineering sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the BioPharma industry and experience working with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel within the New England region.
