Collision Estimator

The Body Shop Estimator position interacts with customers to evaluate vehicle collision and repair needs, to offer additional needed services and to estimate the repair. The Body Shop Estimator position is responsible for a high level of customer interaction as well as coordinating repair order completion with the technicians and parts department.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the repair process from the point of drop-off through the delivery of the repaired vehicle.
• Prepares estimate for customer and or insurance partners according to manufacturer and Hart Motor Company guidelines.
• Partners with the insurance companies to manage customers claim to insure the best customer experience.
• Coordinates with technicians to confirm all aspects of the damages are identified.
• Perform quality inspection prior to vehicle delivery to the customer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License Required
• Ability to provide clear, concise information in writing, via phone and in-person
• Prior collision estimating experience preferred
• Familiar with estimating systems
• I-CAR / ASE certification preferred
• Strong organizational skills
