Hart Ranch Golf Club is looking for Outside Service Attendants to join our team! Hart Ranch Golf Club is located in the foothills of the Black Hills near Rapid City, South Dakota. The 18-hole course is one of the most beautiful, challenging, and fun golf recreation experiences in the area. The Outside Service Attendant performs tasks to ensure members and guests have everything needed for a successful day at the golf course. This position prepares golf carts, ensures the Driving Range and putting and clipping greens are ready for use, and helps to keep spaces clean and tidy in addition to other tasks. This is a part-time (15-25 hours a week) and seasonal (April-October) position.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Greet and acknowledge members and customers in a positive manner.
- Provide cart service from the parking lot, paying special attention to members and guests arriving.
- Wash, dry, and charge golf carts.
- Maintain golf carts in the staging area and ensure the area is clean and not congested.
- Ensure the Driving Range is clean and ready for members and guests.
- Pick the Driving Range, wash range balls, and ensure a proper amount of range balls are available for members and guests.
- Ensure the putting and chipping greens are clean and ready for use.
- Clean rental clubs as needed.
- Ensure the clubhouse is clean and tidy, and conduct cleaning procedures in clubhouse such as mopping restroom floors, taking out garbage, and other cleaning responsibilities.
- Direct large problems to a supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to drive golf carts and the range picker machine which requires an employee to be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver license.
- Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks independently while being friendly and courteous to members and guests.
- Experience in hospitality or golf industry is preferred.
