SUMMARY

Responsible for leading the planning, oversight and execution of projects. He or she owns the process from inception to completion, including developing and allocating budgets, creating and monitoring the project schedule, managing resources for deliverables, raising red flags as issues arise and ensuring adherence to the approval process.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Owns the planning, oversight and execution of all projects, campaigns and initiatives for assigned accounts.

·       Builds and communicate project schedules

·       Collaborates with the account team to set priorities and make sure internal teams are working accordingly.

·       Work with the operations team to manage and plan and manage agency resources

·       Work with account and team leads to develop the scope of work based on functional and business requirements

·       Day to day management of the project from initiation through final delivery

·       Communicates status of project to the team and client on a regular basis

·       Tracks and reports project run rates and financials

·       Contributes to the creative process by assessing feasibility of the proposed solutions

·       Monitors and communicates project risk, dependencies and mitigation accordingly

·       Ensures changing resource and project requirements are communicated to all members of the project team, and that the changes are understood by all members of the team

·       Ensures proper change management documentation is executed as scope increases or decreases or project priorities shift

·       Oversees the project team’s activities to guarantee overall quality of work and ensures the project is delivered on time and on budget

·       Keeps well-informed on all accounts’ activities, thus anticipating obstacles (internal or external) or client dissatisfaction and takes steps to remedy any such situation.

·       Provides prompt, well-thought-out decisions in response to project demands

·       Partners with business operations team to ensure efficient, effective and profitable management of the business

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·       College degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field preferred

·       3 years project management experience- preferably in a creative or advertising agency setting

·       Understanding of project management best practices

·       Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

·       A self-starter able to work collaboratively as well as independently

·       Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure and multiple deadlines

·       Must have the ability to handle a large volume of projects, varying schedules and budgets in a deadline-drive environment

·       Ability to manage internal processes, communicate project needs and obtain results in an ever-changing environment

·       Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully to a wide range of internal and external partners

·       Forward thinking and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Superior project management, communication, and organizational skills are required

·       Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills as well an articulate, friendly, “whatever it takes” attitude, along with a strong work ethic. Must possess high energy and a solid confidence level
