We are seeking to hire a talented, hard-working, and committed individual for a critical role in our Quality Assurance (QA) Department. We are looking for a well experienced QA professional to aid in ensuring our company continues to output best in class Aerospace Components to our Tier 1 Aerospace customers. Our machined Aerospace components include complex small machined parts as well as Aerospace Fasteners. Said individual must be comfortable in working with complex, flight safety Aerospace Components.

Reports to: Quality Control Inspector / Supervisor - Aerospace
Salary Grade: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Bonus on performance
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing final inspection requirements for all assigned products through the use of documented inspection criteria.
- Responsible for carrying out incoming inspection of designated materials and tooling.
- Responsible for record retention for all inspection paperwork and if applicable, associated samples.
- Responsible for Daily Rovering Inspection of CNC machines and cells.
- Responsible for certificate of conformance / QA Department sign offs.
- Must be well aware of the process of 1st Pc, In-Process and Final Inspection efforts.
- Must be well aware of the process of incoming inspection of / for raw materials & outside processes.
- Must be familiar with an AS9100 Aerospace Quality Environment – knowledge of 13100 a plus.
- Must be familiar with the use of surface plates, height gages and hand measuring tools to perform in-process inspection of manufactured parts at various stages of operation.
- Exposure and knowledge of Discus and Gage Trak Software a plus
- Exposure and knowledge of Netinspect a plus
- Collins DQR Experience a big plus
- Sikorsky DQR Experience a big plus
- PWA DQR Experience a big plus
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney LCS Materials a big plus
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility
Requirements:
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints & GD&T.
· Must have the ability to quickly and efficiently inspect various types of machined components via various types of appropriate inspection methods and tools
· Minimum 3 years of experience in an Aerospace Component Manufacturing Company
· Must be computer literate with PC, Microsoft, Web Based Applications and Email
· Good communication, written, and mechanical skills
· Ability to work and cooperate with others
Education / Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent of years on the job required
- Deep knowledge of Quality Control and Inspection of machined parts
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances Per ASME Y14.5
- Experience with inspection and metrology tools including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Ability to work tolerances to /- .0001"
- Must be U.S. Citizen due to our government contracts
