Job Duties:
1. Maintains privacy of agency clients: assures client confidentiality and follows HIPAA policies at all times.
2. Assist medical and clinical staff during client emergencies.
3. Schedule appointments through agency's electronic medical records for Clinicians, APRNs, Psychiatrists, and other ridentified staff.
4. Opens on time and closes the office according to business hours.
5. Follow the daily to-do list and the established front desk work flow.
6. Process subpoenas and notify appropriate staff upon receipt of a subpoena.
7. Process all requests for release of client’s records including SSI requests in accordance to the agency’s established timeframe.
8. Register clients upon arrival for appointments, including updating client’s information, asking for payment, insurance information and reading client warnings.
9. Verify petty cash at the beginning and end of each shift, reconcile cash box, and submit payments to the finance dept.
10. Process all support staff work orders within the stated deadlines
11. Inform clients of their rights as necessary.
12. Cooperates with work team/agency in accomplishing strategic objectivities and goals.
13. Conducts inventory of office supplies inform supervisor when supplies are needed.
14. Participates in regularly scheduled supervision.

Requirements:
- 35 Hours Per Week - Core hours will be between Monday through Saturday and will be discussed during hiring process.
- Must be able to work one evening shift a week on Wednesday or Thursday until 7pm.
- Must be willing and able to cover for back-up purposes on evenings until 7pm and on Saturdays.
- 2 years of experience working with a similar target population (mental health and substance abuse) required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a requirement.
- Understanding of the target population and ability to demonstrate cultural competence is required.
