Connecticut Education Center, part of the Positive Regard Network, invites applicants for anticipated openings in East Hartford for the following positions, with an anticipated start date of August 19, 2024.
Behavioral Interventionist: The Interventionist will provide behavioral (including physical restraints) and psycho-educational assistance to students failing to abide by school routines, program limits and structure. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, plus must meet one of the following requirements: an Associates' degree or higher, 48 college credits, or obtaining a passing score on ParaPro or WorkKeys. Experience within special education, milieu treatment or a related field, particularly with children on the ASD spectrum and/or social/emotional/behavioral issues are highly desired. Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work as a team member are required. (Salary range $17.00 to $21.00 per hour based on education/experience)
