- Unique, 1:1 training with two neurosurgeons who are excellent teachers and enjoy mentoring their team!
- Growth and development - Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program including the use of High Intensity Focus Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment for movement disorders
- OR Time available for APPs with first assist capability, - alternating OR time with two other surgical physician assistants in the office
- Advanced minimally invasive surgeries
- Established practice and staff who take time with their patients
- Hours may vary depending upon case load
- Schedule: Flexible

Qualifications
Advanced Practitioner Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or NP Master’s program required
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an NP or Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- If wishing to participate in OR coverage/first assist -- prefer >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or an Orthopedic setting
