Summary
Our Radiology Manager will be responsible for the management of patient care, day-to-day operations and department personnel. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging management team, the Radiology Manager will assist in the development of department goals, objectives and standards, budget development, preparation and control, quality assurance and department education.
The Radiology Manager coordinates department activities to include regulatory requirements, equipment quality control / maintenance, and performance improvement. Our Radiology Manager is responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating team members. It is expected that you will serve as an effective liaison between Diagnostic Imaging staff, leaders, and other department leaders and medical staff. This role is 100% management / operational oversight.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of Accredited Radiography program, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience
- 2 years supervisory/management experience required, 3-5 years supervisory/management experience preferred
Licensure, Certification, Registration
- Connecticut Radiographer License
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- CPR Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
