The School District of Hartford Jt. #1 is seeking a highly motivated Paraprofessional to join our team. We value staff who are dedicated to helping all students grow and achieve. This is a part-time school year position. Positions are available at both the elementary and middle school buildings.

The School District of Hartford Jt. 1 is a 4K-8th Grade district located northwest of Milwaukee in scenic Washington County. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Hold or be willing to obtain Wisconsin DPI Special Education Aide license
- Guide and supervise elementary students with medical, behavioral, learning, physical, social, or attention issues
- Demonstrate and utilize strong communication
- Will remain detail-oriented and efficient
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Be flexible in planning, scheduling, and working with students and/or the program
- Work with students, team members, and parents, in a positive and supportive manner
- Be committed to continuous improvement and best practices to create a positive and safe learning environment which supports students’ overall well-being and academic success
- Guide and supervise students, maintaining a positive learning environment, and foster a positive attitude toward learning
- Be willing to be trained in non-violent intervention and able to handle behavioral and classroom plans
- Maintain confidentiality
