What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hartford Regional Resource Center Teacher/Special Educator position at Hartford School District?
The Hartford School District is seeking a special education or classroom teacher to join our dedicated and passionate special education team at the Regional Resource Center. Candidates should have a strong background in understanding students with complex learning profiles, experience with transition planning, and providing high quality functional academic instruction. Experience with vocational instruction, using augmentative/alternative communication devices, and/or adaptive equipment is preferred. This teacher will work in collaboration with the program’s special educators, parents, related service providers, transition agencies, and oversee paraprofessional staff.
