Job Description: Customer Service/BDC Rep
Hartford Toyota is seeking a Customer Service/Business Development Representative to become an integral part of our team! You will work in our Business Development Center answering incoming internet opportunities and inbound sales calls. We are searching for a Customer Service Representative to assist our BDC (Business Development Department) in creating appointments by utilizing phone and Internet email strategies. The candidate will be responsible for responding to incoming internet leads as well as making outbound phone calls to generate sales appointments. Opportunity to transition to an internet sales consultant and sell to take the lead from start to finish. If you have exceptional communication skills, excel in customer service, and have a pleasant phone voice we want to hear from you. Prior automotive BDC/Internet sales experience or telemarketing is a real plus but we will train the right candidate! We have found that the best customer service representatives have experience in food service, hospitality, telemarketers, and former military. This is a vital and high-accountability position within our organization that will focus on customer service and appointment generation as part of our Business Development Center.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with and set appointments with incoming Internet opportunities, incoming sales calls, as well as current clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently
- Self-starter, motivated and confident
- Great communication skills both in person and over the phone and via email
- Solid computer aptitude/skills
- Proven ability to exceed our daily outbound calls/Text/Email requirement
