What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Crew position at Hartford Yard Goats?
The Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our 2025 Field Crew Positions. This position runs from April to September and would work on the game day Field Crew for the Yard Goats.
Duties
Pre-game preparation
Prepare pitching mounds, home plate area, and bullpens for games
Drag field pre-game and in game
Assist in tarp pulls and tarp covers on game days and non-game days
Field repair maintenance
Cleaning dugouts, bullpens and field
Set up and tear down batting practice
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Grounds experience not required
Must be available to pull tarp throughout the season
Must enjoy watching baseball
Must be able to work long hours
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Work in various weather conditions
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
