Job Summary:
The Hartford Yard Goats are the AA Minor League Baseball (MiLB) affiliate of the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). During the months of April through September, the Yard Goats play 69 home games in Hartford, Connecticut at Dunkin’ Park. Dunkin’ Donuts Park has been named Baseball Digest’s, “Best of the Ballparks, AA” four times. The Yard Goats have attracted almost 3 million fans since opening in 2017, and welcomed more than 400,000 to the ballpark last year. The Yard Goats Front Office team relies upon our Game Day team in order to provide the best possible experience for all who come through the gates during the season, including fans, guests, players, coaches, umpires, and sponsors.
The Visiting Clubhouse Manager is responsible for taking care of visiting teams to Dunkin’ Park, including AA affiliates of the Yankees, Red Sox, and Mets. Primary responsibilities include laundry, meal coordination, shopping, personal errands, and fulfillment of a variety of requests. This position requires long, unusual hours, a tremendous amount of organization and cleanliness, and a firm commitment to the job and your teammates. Preference will be given to those with previous experience.
This position is part-time and on an as-needed basis aligning with the Yard Goats 2025 home game schedule. Areas of accountability include, but are not limited to:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading visiting player equipment and baggage on and off the visiting team bus.
- Maintaining equipment and uniform inventory for the visiting team.
- Cleaning and maintaining visiting clubhouse bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, laundry room, etc.
- Performing laundry duties for all necessary items for visiting teams in a timely manner.
- Providing seeds, gum, and Gatorade for the visiting team dugout for each game.
- Coordinating pre- and post-game meals for the visiting team for each home game.
- Checking-in on umpires and taking care of any laundry and/or equipment needs, as required, as well as providing post-game meals.
- Coordination and management of bat kids.
- Other duties as assigned/requested/required.

- You have previous Clubhouse experience and want to build a career in baseball or sport in general (ideal, but not a hard-and-fast job qualification requirement).
- You are willing to go above and beyond to provide the best possible customer service experience to all visiting teams, players, coaches, umpires, and others with whom you interact professionally.

All positions are considered Non-Exempt for FLSA purposes. The hourly rate for all Seasonal positions is $16.35 per hour. As a Part Time, Seasonal employee, you will not have a regular schedule. Your schedule will be based on the Company's business needs, which vary week to week and month to month depending primarily on the 2025 Minor League home baseball schedule for the Hartford Yard Goats. There are no minimum hours guaranteed during any day, week, month or year of your employment.
