Assumes responsibility for identification, development and management of campus-wide operational plans designed to ensure the safety and health of all employees, students, and visitors to the University of Hartford. Develops health and safety plans and projects, conducts safety trainings, investigates accidents and hazards, and recommends corrective actions to reduce and/or eliminate potential risks. Performs periodic comprehensive inspections of the campus and equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.
