Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Acoustics (2025-2026)

The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Acoustical Engineering at the University of Hartford invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2025. Applicants from all areas of acoustical engineering and related fields will be considered, but preference will be given to those in the areas of engineering acoustics, vibrations, noise control, musical acoustics, and/or acoustical design. The qualified applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree, excellent potential and dedication to teaching, research, service, and professional activities.Applications are sought from candidates who can help the department conduct innovative research and provide world-class engineering education. The Department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their research, teaching, and/or service to inclusive excellence in the academic community.
