Hartgrove Behavioral Health System consists of a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for a diverse population of all ages. JOB SUMMARY: In this exciting role, you will have 24/7 oversight of all clinical programming activities. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing the quality of our clinical programming and social service provision to patients and families.
- Assuring maintenance of standards for quality clinical services as defined by professional bodies, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and other accrediting organizations.
- Supervising all clinical program activities for all in-patient units. Supervision includes, but is not limited to, clinical programming, interactions with patients as well as implementing new programs and in-services as needed.
- Designing and leading implementation of new and innovative clinical programming.
- Assisting with the provision of leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services and programs offered ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Doctorate in Psychology, Psy D., or Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology required.
Experience: 5 years' experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting, experience developing clinical programming, 2 years supervisory/managerial experience.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psy D., LCPC or LCSW required in the state of IL
Knowledge: Knowledge of individual and family therapy theory and practice, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management. Knowledge of theory and practice of assessments. Able to work cooperatively with other hospital staff and involved community agencies. Good organization skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
