Key Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager Lead – Data Center will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve budgetary and medium-term sales goals. This includes leading a team of Key Account Managers, Associate Key Account Managers, and Field Sales Engineers to drive sales growth and fulfill financial goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a team of Key Account Managers, Associate Key Account Managers, and Field Sales Engineers to drive sales growth and fulfill financial goals.
- Implement market strategy plans to maximize HARTING's share of potential and identify profitable new product development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships at the highest levels within Key Accounts and major subcontractors.
- Closely coordinate project activity with Market Development Management and Product Management to ensure efficient two-way flow of information.
- Design HARTING products into customer equipment and automation lines by working closely with customer engineering and supply chain personnel.
- Propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services to result in cost reduction or improvement in operation.
- Deliver technical training programs to employees of clients as needed.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to HARTING management on sales activity and forecasting.
- Represent HARTING at relevant industry events and conferences.
