Heartland Office Cleaners is a growing commercial janitorial services company serving Nebraska and Iowa. We are looking for a full-time outside sales representative with experience in B2B sales for janitorial services in large commercial accounts.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated success in B2B prospecting and sales for commercial janitorial services.
Our ideal candidate must:
- Must be a self-starter and be highly organized.
- Have exceptional customer service focus.
- Be able to accept some rejection from new prospects without becoming too afraid to move forward with other prospects.
- Gain new business and grow sales by identifying market segments and engaging with individual prospects.
- Be a creative problem solver.
- Consistently be willing to learn and be energetic with prospects.
A post-high school degree is preferred, but educational background is secondary to experience and proven sales success.
About the Position
The janitorial sales representative is responsible for acquiring new accounts for Heartland Office Cleaners in the Omaha/Lincoln/Council Bluffs area. This person will serve as the primary contact for buyers and work together as needed with the company owner, office manager, and service managers to achieve sales success and on-board new clients. Most of their time will be spent prospecting for new business by calling on potential customers and following up on leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, contact, qualify, prepare, and present proposals to acquire new accounts.
- Identify short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities.
- Coordinate proposals, contracts, and new client on-boarding with other members of the management team.
- Track contacts, follow up, and produce status reports based on a simple CRM system.
- Most time will be spent in the field or in the office following up on prospect’s visits. This is not a remote position.
Candidate Requirements:
Must have B2B proven sales experience in a services-oriented business model.
Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
Must be fluent in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Must have outstanding communication skills and customer service orientation.
Must be able to work full-time Monday to Friday.
Compensation will be a combination of base pay, commission and bonuses. Our package of pay and benefits is highly competitive.
