Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Parts Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive and parts sales, with a proven ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and deliver the right solutions. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively sell automotive parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers.
- Provide expert advice on auto parts selection, compatibility, and installation to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring parts are in stock and orders are processed efficiently.
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts based on make, model, and year of the vehicle.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide quotes, process orders, and handle inquiries both in-person and via phone/email.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues regarding parts quality or compatibility.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in automotive sales, parts sales, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and accessories.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in automotive technology or parts sales is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using automotive parts catalogs and ordering systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
