NURSE PARALEGAL
Hartley Law Group, PLLC, a Wheeling and Charleston, West Virginia Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation Firm, is seeking a NURSE PARALEGAL with at least 5 years of nursing experience and at least 2 years of legal experience to immediately support our litigation team.
Duties will include:
- Case evaluation.
- Request and maintain medical records and billing statements.
- Reviewing and summarizing medical records, create chronologies, and identify critical issues relating to a patient’s care associated with complex medical malpractice cases.
- Medical research.
- Case management which involves maintaining document control, calendaring deadlines, and filings.
- Mailings and electronic filings.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and self-direction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and familiarity with case management systems.
