Outstanding opportunity for a medically oriented optometrist to join a growing, dynamic, progressive and friendly ophthalmology practice! Hours are Monday-Friday and the practice is closed on weekends and holidays to prioritize personal time and well-being. The office has the latest in advanced technology and prides itself on personalized care. This is a full time position that includes routine care ranging from diabetic eye exams to dry eye treatment to contacts/glasses. Strong compensation package offered along with a competitive salary. Practice consists of ophthalmologists and optometrists with an initial caseload of 20-30 patients per day per provider. Great work-life balance with a 4 day work week, no evenings, and no weekends.

Minimum Qualifications: •Doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree. ● Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions. ● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. ● Customer service oriented with excellent analytical skills. ● Prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses ● Providing pre- and post-operative care for patients
Job Responsibilities: ● Conducts eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation. ● Diagnoses and treats ocular disease. ● Will perform patient post optometric exams and surgical evaluations, co-manage surgical patients, diagnose, treat and manage patients. ● Prescribes glasses and contact lenses. ● Recommends appropriate patient follow-up and care options
● Answers questions and provides advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues. ● Delivers outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. ● Directs staff and assists in the development of the overall practice
