About the Role - The Plant Operations Manager is a key member of the North American Leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of a complex 24/7 facility. The Successful candidate requires experience managing a continuous operation with a track record of effective culture building in a rapidly expanding, state of the art facility.

Responsibilities - Provide vision, leadership, and coaching achieve Productivity, Safety and Quality measurables, while supporting the collaboration of plant supervisors and departmental employees. Drive positive change using continuous improvement tools and methodologies, teamwork, and metrics to drive quality, cost, delivery, safety, and housekeeping. Assess and ensure that quality measures are met, and the cost of manufacturing including fixed and variable costs, are achieved. Support employee relations process, supporting open communication and employee engagement activities. Lead site leadership team in capital planning including major and minor CAPEX projects and asset planning to minimize the risk of failure and the number of breakdowns. Forecast profitability and production to optimize yield; support supply chain with balancing inventory and sales needs to manage production planning.
Qualifications - Completion of post-secondary education specific to role (degree preferred); 5-8 years of manufacturing Plant Leadership in a dynamic 24-hour operation. Background in Lean Manufacturing preferably through the implementation process. Experience with analysis of financial data and related statements to make clear sound business decisions; Demonstrated change management ability, with effective influence and engagement skills to establish goals and achieve accountability through direct reports; Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
