What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remodeler position at Harts General Services?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of remodeling tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall installation, flooring, and finishing work.
- Assist in the installation of cabinets, countertops, windows, doors, and other structures.
- Measure, cut, and install materials according to project specifications.
- Work with hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Help in prepping and painting surfaces, installing trim, and applying other finishing touches to completed projects.
- Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean and safe condition, including disposing of construction debris properly.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and tools, and transporting them to and from job sites.
- Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other team members to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Follow safety guidelines and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations and to promote a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or challenges to the project manager or foreman.
- Assist with other general construction tasks as needed, including mixing and preparing materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
