General practice law firm seeking to add an experienced paralegal/legal assistant to our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing and drafting motions, pleadings, judgements, statements, documents, and other correspondence (i.e. debt and asset lists, witness affidavits, child support worksheets, responsive pleasings, etc.)
- Performing legal research
- Maintaining attorney calendars and case files
- Scheduling appointments, court appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings
- Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney
- Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests

Qualification Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Paralegal’s Certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree a plus
- Family law experience
- Familiar with Missouri rules of civil procedure and deadlines
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy, hands-on caseload
- Ability to work independently while producing a high level of work product
