We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation tasks to maintain high hygiene levels.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist in housekeeping management tasks, including inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall satisfaction of guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Skills in cooking or food preparation can be beneficial in certain environments.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
