Position Overview :
As a Lumber Counter Sales Team Member , you will be the front-line representative of our lumber and building materials department, providing excellent customer service, offering product expertise, and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. Your role involves assisting customers with their lumber, building material and tool needs, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a well-organized and stocked lumber counter.
Responsibilities :
Greet customers at the lumber and building material sales counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Monitor inventory levels for lumber and building materials, ensuring stock availability.
Provide technical information on construction methods, material specifications, and installation techniques.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
Work closely with the sales team, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
