Job Summary:
Hartville Hardware is seeking a driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Specialist to focus on cabinet sales, specifically serving contractors and builders. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships within the construction industry to drive sales of high-quality cabinetry solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cabinetry, home construction, and project management, with a proven ability to generate and close sales in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships with contractors, builders, and remodelers to generate cabinet sales opportunities.
- Conduct on-site consultations to understand project needs and recommend tailored cabinetry solutions.
- Provide detailed product information, quotes, and estimates to ensure accurate project planning.
- Work closely with the design and purchasing teams to coordinate orders and ensure timely project completion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new cabinet product offerings, and competitor activity.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales progress, and project details
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, or building materials.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, cabinetry installation, and contractor needs.
- Ability to read blueprints, design layouts, and understand construction specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular client visits and job site meetings.
- Strong proficiency in 2020 Design
