About the position :
As a Part-Time Team Member of our Server Team you will get to experience the fun of creating an excellent customer experience for our guests. Team Members have excellent guest service skills to make our guests feel welcome The servers will be responsible for taking beverage and food orders and delivering meals to the tables.
Essential Position Duties :
- Inform guests of daily specials.
- Take orders from patrons for food or beverages.
- Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
- Prepare hot and cold drinks for patrons.
- Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Write guests' food orders on order slips, and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Serve food or beverages to guests' tables as required.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Demonstrates professionalism and a high level of guest service so that guests leave our restaurant with a positive image of our food and our restaurant.
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters; place them in tubs on the busser's carts.
- Prepare checks that itemize total meal costs and sales taxes.
- Assist with any side work assigned to servers.
