We are seeking a Part-Time Nursing Learning Laboratory Assistant to support the Department of Nursing in maintaining an optimal learning environment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Nursing Skills Lab and Simulation Director and the Chair of the Nursing Department.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with nursing students, faculty, and staff, and be able to provide assistance with clinical skills validation, review of learning resource materials, and preparation for clinical experiences.
This is a part-time position, requiring 10-20 hours of work per week, depending on the needs of the department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the learning lab as an optimal learning environment
- Assisting nursing faculty with clinical skills validation and review of learning resource materials
- Preparing nursing students for clinical experiences
- Providing technical support for distance learning and simulation technology
- Serving as a liaison between the Department of Nursing and other college departments
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
