General Responsibilities
Requires ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T, have proficiency with hand-held gauges, optical comparator and CMM. Ability to work with machinist to interpret process data.

- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced per instruction
- Verify process documentation is correct
- Complete manufacturing documentation prior to moving parts
- Complete necessary computer transactions
- Perform required transactions to disposition parts and components
Requirements
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; 1-3 years of experience
Required Technical Skills
- Print reading – ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, datum structures, and process dimensions.
- GD&T – ability to read and interpret GD&T symbols and callouts.
- Hand gaging – Must be proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, thread gages, plug gages, height stand with indicator, and profilometer.
- Layout Inspection – ability to understand inspection instructions and inspect parts utilizing manual gauging, CMM, and optical comparator
- CMM operation – ability to download program, identify needed fixturing, and correctly load components
- CMM data review – ability to review and understand CMM data in an Excel format
- Router control – ability to review manufacturing order documentation for completion and correctness
- Process documentation – ability to clearly define product nonconformance data and create required quality documentation
- Manual and specification - Ability to interpret established sampling plan, specifications, and manuals
