Responsibilities :
The position is responsible for the supervision of the nursing activities on the evening / night shift, working closely with the Director of Nursing
The Night Shift Nurse Supervisor will perform duties directly related to the Facility's management and clinical policies to ensure quality care for the residents of the facility
The Night Shift Nurse Supervisor must demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment related to the general operations of the facility
Auditing Charts
Assisting new residents transition to post-acute care setting and ensuring completion of admission paperwork
Staff supervision, in-servicing, training, and discipline
Be able to interact positively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
Harvard Gardens Rehabilitation and Care Center currently seeks a Night Shift Nurse Manager to join our team. The position is responsible for the supervision of the nursing activities on the evening / night shift, working closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing administration. The Night Shift Nurse Manager will perform duties directly related to the Facility's management and clinical policies to ensure quality care for the residents of the facility during the evening / night shifts. The Night Shift Nurse Manager must demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment related to the general operations of the facility.
Qualified candidates must have a valid Ohio Nursing License. Required experience :
- Supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing / LTC care facility : 1 years
- Active Nursing license in the State of Ohio
