What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calypso Senior Software Engineer position at Harvard Partners, LLP?
Senior software engineer for the Calypso derivatives trading platform encompassing systems configuration, development, and integration for Global and Capital Markets financial derivatives across the trading lifecycle including front, middle and back-office processing using Calypso, Bloomberg, Acadia, IHSMarkit and other financial market services.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Calypso software
- Experience configuring and extending with Calypso application modules for interest rates, commodities, FX, FX Options or equity derivative asset classes
- Experience integrating Calypso with financial market utilities such as DTCC SDR, Swift, FedWire, Bloomberg, AcadiaSoft or TriResolve and with internal systems such as General Ledger, market and credit risk and data warehouses
- Experience with collateral management, General Ledger accounting, market data sources, LDAP and Single Sign-On, portals and payment processing
- Experience developing and / or supporting applications with : Websphere, Java, JBoss, MQ, ETL and API development
- Experience with CI / CD technologies such as BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible
- Experience working on one of the following platforms : UNIX, Oracle SQL
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing application software issues
- Thorough understanding of RDBMS and SQL, market and credit risk, data lake and AWS or Azure fundamentals
- Ability to develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application that meets the defined requirements (business, system performance and standards)
- AWS certification preferred
