About the Role

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead their accounts payable function and drive operational efficiency. This role involves managing day-to-day payment processes, developing team capabilities, and enhancing systems to support scalability. Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Lead the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Supervise and mentor a growing accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Implement and maintain a 3-way matching process to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals and streamline invoice workflows.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Drive continuous process improvements and identify opportunities for automation.
• Participate in the implementation of new financial systems and software upgrades.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10 years of accounts payable or accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in process optimization and system implementations.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and AP automation tools.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries is a plus
