What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Plant Paint Shop Manager position at Harvard Resource Solutions LLC?
We are hiring an Automotive Plant PAINT SHOP MANAGER to oversee the day-to-day operations of paint shop operations and ensure high quality paint finishes. You will directly manage Supervisors, Team Leaders, Material Handlers, and Paint Mixers.
POSITION TYPE : Full time. Direct Hire. In Plant daily.
Requirement of the Plant Paint Shop Manager :
- An Engineering degree or 10 years of directly relevant experience is required.
- Possess strong leadership skills and high accountability.
- Industry : Either Automotive or other high-volume manufacturers producing painted products.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing plant processes. Willing to work on the manufacturing shop floor.
- Knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System) and robotic operations.
- Specific knowledge in plastics painting, solvents, and coatings.
- Ability to manage programs and lead continuous improvement activities.
- Able to run reports and make presentations to management.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
Duties of the Plant Paint Shop Manager :
WORKING CONDITIONS : Manufacturing plant floor, protective equipment utilized, heavy traffic in some areas, work area may be noisy, working with chemicals and machinery. Standing for long periods of time.
