What are the responsibilities and job description for the IP Patent Paralegal position at Harvard Resource Solutions LLC?
Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking an IP Patent Paralegal for our law firm client in Bloomfield Hills on a direct hire basis.
Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in office for the first 6 months. 3 days in the office, 2 days at home is standard firm policy.
Duties:
- Coordinate domestic and international filings with USPTO and foreign entities.
- Manage docket system for action due dates and patent annuities.
- Prepare and file documents with USPTO and foreign counsel.
- Record assignments and correspond with clients.
- Generate status reports for attorneys and clients.
- Handle correspondence from foreign associates and obtain legalizations.
- Conduct research on patent rights, including USPTO records and industry databases.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred, with at least one year of patent experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. and foreign patent work.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and research databases like Lexis/Nexis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail and follow-up.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and willingness to learn new tools.

Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
