Harvard Resource Solutions is looking for an Office Manager/HR Assistant to support a consulting client in Troy, MI.
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
- Provide HR support, including onboarding new employees, updating personnel files, and assisting with benefits coordination.
- Oversee office operations by managing supplies, handling internal communications, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Organize meetings, company gatherings, and other business events.
- Prepare and refine documents, including reviewing resumes, proofreading proposals, and assisting with marketing materials.
- Work with external vendors and service providers to fulfill office needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong focus on accuracy, especially in reviewing documents and processing information.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 5-7 years of experience in office administration, HR assistance, or a related role within a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with solid technical skills.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, HR, or a related field is preferred.
