Harvard Resource Solutions is looking for an Office Manager/HR Assistant to support a consulting client in Troy, MI.

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (Flexible)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and answer phone calls, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
  • Provide HR support, including onboarding new employees, updating personnel files, and assisting with benefits coordination.
  • Oversee office operations by managing supplies, handling internal communications, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Organize meetings, company gatherings, and other business events.
  • Prepare and refine documents, including reviewing resumes, proofreading proposals, and assisting with marketing materials.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to fulfill office needs.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, especially in reviewing documents and processing information.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 5-7 years of experience in office administration, HR assistance, or a related role within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with solid technical skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, HR, or a related field is preferred.

Salary : $28 - $33
