Summary

Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Payroll Management: Oversee the full payroll process through a payroll service, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, including enrollment, updates, and coordination with providers to ensure employees receive the appropriate coverage.
- Financial Transactions & Deposits: Process and reconcile deposits while maintaining accurate records for financial tracking and audits.
- Month-End Close: Prepare and finalize month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial statements and records are accurate and complete.
- Work Papers & Financial Reporting: Maintain work papers for financial audits, prepare various financial reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting as needed.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure all accounting processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies while identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications of the Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on payroll, benefits, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in corporate finance or project accounting is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to financial management.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
