Harvard University
Cambridge, MA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/5/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/5/2025
Job Summary

Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Harvard Federal Credit Union (Harvard FCU) is a federally chartered credit union serving a diverse and growing membership base. With over $1.2 billion in assets, Harvard FCU provides personalized banking services to Harvard University affiliates and members across the greater Boston area. The Credit Union offers a full suite of financial products, wealth management services, and robust digital and branch access—anchored by a commitment to financial empowerment and exceptional service.

Harvard FCU is seeking a strategic, service-focused Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the alignment of technology, operations, and data capabilities in support of the organization’s growth and member experience goals. This executive will have enterprise-level responsibility for Information Technology, Digital Banking, Deposit Operations, Card Services, Business Applications, and Data Analytics.

This role does not manage the day-to-day operations of these areas. Rather, the CIO provides strategic oversight, ensuring that these functions work in harmony to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and exceptional experiences for both members and employees. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for digital transformation, internal service excellence, and technology-enabled customer experience.

Reporting to the EVP, Chief Operating Officer, with a dotted-line to the President & CEO, the CIO serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology vision of a mission-driven organization committed to exceptional member service. If you’re a strategic leader passionate about using technology to elevate customer experience and operational performance, we invite you to join our executive team.
