Basic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in office administration and customer service. Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
Additional Qualifications and Skills

- Experience managing sensitive medical information and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Willingness and ability to work beyond scheduled hours on an occasional and as-needed basis
- Technologically proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, and with collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint
- Familiarity with Canvas
Additional Information
This is a term appointment currently expected to extend through May 15, 2026, with potential for renewal subject to funding and departmental need. This part time position works 17.5 hours per week during the academic year and is placed on a seasonal leave of absence (unpaid) for the summer break. The academic year work schedule begins a few days before the start of the fall term.

Job Summary
The Dean of Students Office (DOS) works with faculty and other Harvard Law School (HLS) administrative offices to orient 1,800 students to law school life and to provide resources and counseling on a variety of matters that may arise in both students' academic and personal lives.
The Class Recordings Assistant will support HLS administrative staff by managing the dissemination of class recordings and the data entry and record keeping related to such requests. This position will also serve as back-up for recording team members who review requests from students who have personal or medical emergencies.
