We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging environment for our infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Aides in the room to provide a loving, caring and safe environment for the babies and toddlers in our care.
- Provide personal care and attention to each of the children as part of a team dedicated to their needs.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and maintain an organized and stimulating classroom environment
- Provide care and supervision during nap time, play time and meals
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher regarding the children's progress and any concerns
Skills:
- Previous experience caring for young children - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions and implement instructional strategies effectively - Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
