Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Bassist to join our dynamic Dream Team. The ideal candidate will have a musical background, a deep understanding of rhythm and harmony, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other musicians. As an independent contractor, this role is responsible for accompanying the worship experience through instrumental music. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is eager to contribute to the experience.
Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared and 10 minutes before designated arrival times & check in.
- Play instrumental music as scheduled at worship experiences & events.
- Deliver an excellent & fully rehearsed performance .
- Collaborate with the worship team to create cohesive arrangements and harmonies.
- Maintain a strong sense of timing and rhythm to support the overall musical structure.
- Attend regular rehearsals and meetings.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use during performances.
- Wear the correct attire for the experience & events.
Experience
- Proven experience playing bass guitar in various musical genres is preferred.
- Familiarity with music theory and the ability to read sheet music or tablature is a plus.
- Experience performing live in front of an audience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations during performances.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with fellow musicians.
