Harvest Table (www.harvesttable.com), a unique, fast-paced St. Helena restaurant and Bar in the heart of Napa Valley located inside the Harvest Inn resort is eagerly looking for a talented Bartender/Server to join our Harvest Table team.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and providing an outstanding dining experience.

PAY SCALE

The pay scale for this position is $16.50 per hour, plus tips. This is the wage rate for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.

- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage payments.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food items.

- Assist with catering events as needed, providing excellent service in fine dining settings.

- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing tips and managing cash flow.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume setting is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage preparation techniques.

- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.

- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
