Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assists in preparation of schedules, journal entries, and analysis for each of the following aspects of corporate accounting team:
- Amortization schedules for prepaids, tax, and insurance
- Monitoring accruals
- Organizing meeting as it relates to ARO, Insurance, tax and regulatory teams
- Preparation of work papers to support the company’s financial statements.
- Assist with the audits of the annual financial statements.
- Research and prepare journal entries related to corporate amortization schedules.
- Assists Corporate Accounting team with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, as needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
- Monitor and complete AFEs in a timely manner to ensure all Assets created.
- GL reconciliations and uploads to our new OneStream software.
- Works closely with corporate support teams in assuring all appropriate expenses are captured in accordance with GAAP.
- Secures payment from third parties/affiliates and notifies Treasury on expected payment and timing.
- Performs special projects that require knowledge of pipeline and storage, gas gathering and processing operational accounting.
- Maintains employee confidence and corporate assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional association.

- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Two (2) years minimum of midstream accounting experience.
- Ability to identify and analyze accounting and financial reporting questions and develop solutions responsive to those questions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Preferred: Strong working knowledge of SAP
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a concentration in accounting/finance.
