ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
· RECEIVE AND ORGANIZE INVOICES
· CODE EXPENDITURES AND APPLY PURCHASES TO PROPER ACCOUNTS
· MAKE PAYMENTS ON TIME TO ALL VENDORS, AGENCIES, AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES AS REQUIRED
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
· REVIEW AND POST DAILY PAYMENT BATCHES
· COMPLETE MANUAL & COMPUTERIZED DEPOSITS
PAYROLL
· TABULATE ALL EMPLOYEES’ TIME SHEETS AND PAY EMPLOYEES PER SCHEDULED PAY PERIOD
· COMPLETE MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND ANNUAL RETIREMENT, INSURANCE, AND TAX WITHHOLDING REPORTS AND RELATED FORMS AS NEEDED
GENERAL LEDGER / FINANCIAL
· BALANCE AND RECONCILE MULTIPLE BANK ACCOUNTS
· COMPLETE MONTHLY JOURNAL ENTRIES TO PREPARE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND STATISTICAL REPORTS AS REQUIRED
· ORGANIZE AND PREPARE MEETING MINUTES AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS
· PREPARE AND PRESENT QUARTERLY FINANCIAL REVIEW OF ALL BANK ACCOUNTS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Summary
As an Accountant, you will be integral to our financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and maintaining accurate financial records. Your core skills in double entry bookkeeping and accounting software will support the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, with experience in Sage Accounting software being a significant advantage. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
