Harvest Preparatory Academy is a charter school located in Yuma, AZ and San Luis, AZ. We are seeking a qualified high energy, fast paced person to keep up with high demand as a Speech Therapist for the District.
Summary:
The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students. The Speech Therapist will also work with families and other professionals to provide support and education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to students in a variety of settings, including individual, group, and classroom settings.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and school administration, to provide the best possible care for HPA students.
- Keep up-to-date on current research and practices in speech-language pathology.
- Document client progress and outcomes.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Arizona.
- Experience working with children and adults with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
