The Warehouse Utility Shipper will lead the loading of outbound delivery trucks and support the Warehouse Team Lead in all aspects of the cooler to ensure that high-quality perishable products are distributed on time for Harvesters distribution programs.
Primary responsibilities:
- Review daily schedules to ensure that all scheduled delivery orders for that day are ready for shipment and delivery.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and all other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist other warehouse functions when demand requires additional staff to support the workload. This would include stocking, fulfillment, distribution and cooler/freezer.
- Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with OSHA, Harvesters safety and sanitation policies.

- This position functions in an office and warehouse environment. It requires the use of general office equipment such as telephone, computers, adding machines, calculators, fax and copiers. Incumbent will also be required to occasionally engage in heavy lifting (20 to 50 lbs.) and frequently engage in light lifting (5 to 20 lbs.) It will also require use of material handling equipment such as walk behind and riding pallet jacks, reach and stacks as well as gas and electric forklifts.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience
- 1-2 years in a warehouse, preferably in a food industry setting.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires a high school education or equivalent.
2. Preferred Experience: 2-3 years, certified forklift operator, digital literacy, volunteer work.
