Harvey Construction is searching for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator and Waterline Installer to join our team.
About the Role:
- As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.
- You will also be responsible for installing waterlines and performing other related tasks.
- The selected candidate will work closely with the Sewer Foreman/Operator to ensure seamless completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install waterlines and perform other related tasks.
- Work closely with the Sewer Foreman/Operator to ensure project completion.
- Inspect manholes to determine condition and locate stoppages.
- Service, adjust, and make minor repairs to equipment, machines, and attachments.
- Perform other duties as required by the company.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred but not required.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment and tools is desirable.
