Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
- 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Capital Investment Coordinator
- Participate in capital investment projects
- Daily Purchasing support
- Monthly financial closing activities
- Monthly financial reporting activities
- Create standard job work and identify activities that could be redirected to a shared services group
Reason/motivation for request:
- Addition to support current Plant Finance Manager
- Heavy investment and project period over next 2-3 years
- Transition of some accounting activities to a shared services group

Typical task breakdown:
- Financial analysis for capital projects
- Submitting major projects into a system for approval
- Managing POs and spend for those projects as they execute
- Month-end closing activities to clean up system grief, create journal entries, create accruals, explain monthly variances, create reporting presentations/slides
Interaction with team:
- Support the current Plant Finance Manager directly
- Work with Plant leadership and staff on projects
- Learn the foundry manufacturing process
Work environment:
- Mostly office cubicle, conference room, and occasional visit to the plant floor
- Must be onsite at least 3 days a week, but may require 4-5 at times. Only for non-local resource.
- Opportunity to work from home up to 2 days a week as the business allows
Education & Experience Required:
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferred to be concentrated in Accounting, but would consider Business Management

Additional Technical Skills
