THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Cyber Security Analyst position is responsible for effective management of our cyber security systems. The analyst is responsible for incident monitoring and reporting, coordinating company-wide security training and responding to client security questionnaires. A typical day will include reviewing and remediation of alerts in our SIEM and working on information security-related projects. Responsibilities also include tracking the security posture of our mission critical technology vendors. Our ideal candidate must be a professional, collaborative team player that is comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Configure and analyze security tools and software.
- Contribute to and maintain security standards and create/maintain policies and procedures.
- Review security logs daily to identify, report and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Document, prioritize and analyze security threats and incidents.
- Assist in coordinating annual compliance activities such as security policy reviews, penetration tests and SOC2 audits.
- Assist in coordinating and following up on employee security awareness training.
- Coordinate technology vendor assessments and analyze vendor security scorecards.
- Cyber Incident response planning and execution.
YOU’LL BRING:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity
- CompTIA Security certification
- 2 years of experience as a security analyst in a corporate environment
- Exposure to the following preferred:
- CrowdStrike or similar EDR/MDR
- Kaseya or similar end user remote support software
- Service Desk Plus or other help desk ticketing system
- Microsoft M365 Administration
- Entra Conditional Access policies
- Microsoft Defender
- Zscaler or similar zero trust VPN solution
- ReliaQuest or similar MSSP for SIEM
- Secret Server or similar PAM solution
- Executing Phishing campaigns
- Incident response planning and execution
